"Quit making excuses, putting it off, complaining about it, dreaming about it, whining about it, crying about it, believing you can't, worrying if you can, waiting until you are older, skinnier, richer, braver, or all around better. Suck it up, hold on tight, say a prayer, make a plan and just do it." - Nike
I love this quote from Nike. I am a massive procrastinator and generally have a hard time believing in myself. For a while I had this screen saver on my phone which helped me to stay motivated when I was trying to eat well and keep active. It is simply about making short term goals and not thinking about unachievable targets that can be completly overwhelming and just focusing on four weeks at a time.
I also love that the quote says to pray and make a plan. Talk to your God and centre yourself however you like. When I feel like I need extra help to get through (which is allllll the time) I pray to God and read some scriptures and lately I've been loving Psalm 18. So good. Soooooo good.
So that Nike quote was my inspiration for this sports luxe blog post. I've teamed a Nike scoop t-shirt with my gorgeous City Chic leather skirt.
Ok story time.. So I went to wear this skirt to my birthday dinner last year with my gorgeous friends and as I sat in the car to go the WHOLE SLIT RIPPED OPEN all the way up my thigh. Oh my word, talk about diaster. So I had to wear a back up leather skirt with the new top I had bought. So now that I finally organised to have it mended I thought it would be cute in this look. I've simply styled it all with a pair of $8 K-Mart nude studded pumps that I've had for years.
So let me know what you think of this look! Have you tried out the sports luxe look? How would you style this skirt? Let me know below. Love you xx
