Have you ever seen a dress that you just needed to buy even though it was a bit daring, or theatrical? Yep, me too!
This week in the wedding outfit series we're doing all things 50s style. I love the fifties, the silhouettes, the waist lines, the feminine style dresses. Love.
This dress is from ASOS and is over 5 years old now, so sorry ladies but you probably won't be able to buy this one unless you find it on eBay but I've done the nice thing and found some similar options for you all.
Option 1, City Chic
Option 2, Mod Cloth
Option 3, ASOS
Option 4, ASOS
Option 5, ASOS
All of these dresses are 50s style, not so rockabilly, so please check them out.
This style of this dress is so unique, sometimes you just need to put on a dress that isn't the same cookie cutter dress that all the other women are wearing and work it.
I wore this dress to a function with the Governor of Queensland and so many lovely ladies said the sweetest things about my dress. It was the perfect amount of dressy without going overboard.
I styled this dress with some patent pumps, a patent black belt from Veronica Maine (similar), some jewelled lady bug earrings and a purple lip.
Sorry if this page takes forever to load but there was soon many cute photos of this dress! I couldn't cull haha
I'd love to know what you think of this dress. Would you try the 50s style out? Did you like any of the options I linked above? Let me know below. Love you xx
