There's two things I really love in life, dressing up and drinking champagne with my friends. I don't know if Spring Racing is your thing but I love it and try to go every year, and while I'm terrible at betting, I love seeing all the beautiful outfits and fascinators and enjoying my time with my friends (with our pink wine).
I've teamed up with ASOS for this post to bring you two options from their Spring Racewear Range. They kindly sent me this gorgeous skirt and jumpsuit so I could to show you all how I would style them for the races! Woo!
Derby Day is all about black and white outfits and you all know that I can't go past a gorgeous leather skirt. This is the River Island Plus Faux Leather Wrap Mini Skirt and I've paired it with my ride or die Mesh Body Suit which is also from ASOS.
I wanted to try and bring another perspective on Spring Racing and stay away from the really traditional thoughts on what a Derby Day or Spring Racing outfit would look like. So instead of a fabulous fascinator I decided to just wear a vintage crystal choker (thanks Mum).
I'm so in love with this skirt. It has a mini skirt under the wrap at the front so you don't have any wardrobe malfunctions happen.
This is the first time I've actually worn a jumpsuit and I'm a bit nervous about posting it haha! I really love the colour and how this outfit can be styled in so many ways. You could go Boho with lots of layer of silver jewellery and some strappy sandles or something similar to what I've done here with just a cute headpiece.
This is the Pink Clove Sleeveless Plunge Jumpsuit. Lets have a quick chat about shapewear with this outfit. I usually would wear some shapewear with something this tight but because it's super tight where my shapewear would be finishing at my thighs, I decided to wear some footless stockings instead and they worked a treat and because they're so much lighter in weight than traditional shapewear they would be pretty comfy under this outfit all day.
This post is sponsored by ASOS however all views are my own.
What do you think of these ASOS outfits? What would you wear to the Spring Races this year? Let me know below! Love you xx
